"New Generations should consider changing their name to 'New Lease on life', That's exactly how my mother feels about them. Their services have given her a "New" level of confidence, comfort and well being, not to mention the Peace of mind it gives her family knowing that she is taken care of when we can't be there. Thanks Again NG!"
Mom loves living in her own home but needs a little help keeping up with her personal hygiene, preparing her meals or cleaning up around the house. Dad was just discharged from the hospital after an operation and mom simply isn’t able to help him bathe, groom, or get out of the bed to go to the bathroom. Perhaps you have family members or loved ones that aren’t as mobile as they once were; however, they want to remain in their home with their familiar surroundings. Most elderly and disabled people do not want to be placed in the sterile environment of a nursing home, preferring to be in a more comfortable setting where they are used to performing their everyday tasks. Their own home may be the best place for them to remain but they just aren’t capable of living on their own. Instead of uprooting them and moving them to a place where they are uncomfortable, they just may need a little assistance to keep them where they want to be.
It is important to the elderly and disabled that they be able to remain in the familiar surroundings of their own home. Studies have shown that elderly people who stay in their own homes are much happier and healthier. Your loved ones don’t want to be a burden to you and may refrain from asking for help when it is needed. When your loved ones need assistance; i.e., someone to help with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, house cleaning and transportation for errands, consider New Generations for Hilton Head home health care.
